Are we talking about the {crc32} binding?
-clear-cache command does clear the cache, but that is unrelated to and has no effect on any CRC32 / MD5 / SHA256 hash that may have been computed and stored for a given file. Perhaps a screenshot could help explain problem better than words can? Please read How to Request Help.
