Does the Microsoft Store edition receive updates?

So on the front page it lists:

Microsoft Store and Mac App Store purchases neither include nor require a universal license.

But do they ever get updates? I see that the version on the website does but not the app store.

Wish I would have known that before my purchase...

Microsoft Store and Mac App Store edition do get updates, though slightly delayed by 2-3 weeks because each update has to go through app review and that can sometimes take a while to pass.
