Download links for 32-bit Windows

Why are there two different locations for downloading FB and they have different versions?

I would have thought there was only a 64-bit version and wouldn't have found the second link (with 32-bit versions) if I hadn't done a Google search specifically for 32-bit.

The commonly used download links are on the main page for quick access, i.e. the download links that the vast majority of users will want to click. The complete (but potentially confusing; choice is bad if you don't understand the choices) list is on the dedicated download page, i.e. for advanced users that know what they want.


Are you running 32-bit Windows?


Note that the x86 package for Windows exists only because x86_64 emulation on arm64 machines wasn't possible in the past, i.e. we have x86 package to support the latest and greatest (?) arm64 hardware, not to support 15+ year old x86 hardware. Since Microsoft has recently added x86_64 emulation on arm64 machines, we will no longer provide x86 build for upcoming releases, so if you rely on 32-bit builds for some reason, please share with us that reason.
