Filebot on Synology

I am new to filebot and plex. I have Plex running on my Synology NAS. I see that I can install Filebot on my Synology. My question is why would I want to run Filebot on my Synology? Can someone explain the benefit? Thank you.

:idea: If you can access your files via a remote network drive, then I would strongly recommend processing files remotely via the FileBot Desktop application.


:idea: Running FileBot on your Synology NAS makes sense if you cannot access your files via network drive for some reason, or if you want to run FileBot automatically.
