FileBot suddenly does not Drag-Drop from file Selected from Win Explorer

Hello All

I was able to select and drag-drop the files into FILEBOT but suddenly this facility does not work - very frustrating.

Has anyone met this problem and knows a solution ?

Are you running FileBot or Windows Explorer as Administrator by any chance?

I DONT beleive that I'm using FileBot or Explorer in Admn mode.

Then no idea, unfortunately. There are no known issues regarding drag-n-drop not working. It works on all the Windows test machines I have available to me.



EDIT:

You could do a bit of random trial & error testing to maybe get a clue. Try rebooting your machine. Try dragging different files from different locations, Desktop, local drive, network share, etc. Try dragging files into VLC media player to see if that works to see if the issue is unique to FileBot or if it's a general issue.



EDIT 2:

You can also try copy & paste. You can copy files with CTRL+C in Windows Explorer and then paste them with CTRL+V in FileBot. Almost the same as copy & paste. Might work. Might not. That in itself might also be a clue.

Did all the usual stuff - fresh reload of Windows, Filebot. Does not work on local or network files.
Checked your other points eg. Drag/Drop to VLC and VLC DOES accept files.
Tried Copy/Paste (CTRL C/V) and it DOES register file and multiple files into FILEBOT - So at least it eases up the problem with a work around.

PS: I have Filebot on my downstairs PC (same Windows) and it does drag/drop files.

Just to confirm, we are talking about standard *.mkv files that work one PC but not another? That's very strange and unusual... no clue...

What does the cursor look like when it doesn't work? Does the cursor change as you drag files over the FileBot application? If so, then the log (press F5 to view the log) may (or may not) give us a clue.
