Hi There

I am hoping someone can help me please. Firstly, I have done a search in the forum and there are lots of different postings about this. However, a lot of the solutions don't make sense to me and I am not familiar with scripting in FileBot. Therefore, I am hoping for and would appreciate a simpler step by step approach. An idiots guide to solving . Apologies if I come across think

I am trying to set up FileBot to download subtitles for the first time, in particular forced subtitles (if that makes a difference)

I have an OpenSubtitles account and as per instructions i am entering the OpenSubtitles login details into the FileBot pop up box. I keep getting the following error message.

"OpenSubtitles Client error:https://api.opensubtitles.com/api/v1/login(401 Unauthorised Request)"

The version FileBot I am using is "FileBot_5.1.6_x64".

Any help to resolve this would be very gratefully received.

You need to enter your https://www.opensubtitles.com/ login details. 401 Unauthorised Request suggests that the username / password you have entered is incorrect.


Note that https://www.opensubtitles.org/ and https://www.opensubtitles.com/ are not the same. You may need to log into https://www.opensubtitles.com/ first to check your password.

Looks like you manually re-typed the error message? You can typically click on the error message to copy & paste the error message.
