{s00e00} yields absolute episode numbers only when Absolute Order is used

Post by Shiyuki »

I am having issues renaming files.

I have this format setup

Format: Select all

{n} - {s00e00} - {t}{subt}
but it comes up every time like this Title - 02 - Episode.

Is there anyway to fix this issue? I am using this to rename files for plex.

Thanks

:idea: You have likely configured Absolute Order in the Episode Order Preferences. If you use Absolute Order then all bindings such as {s} or {s00e00} only have absolute episode numbers to work with and so generate file paths accordingly.

:arrow: Please revert back to Airdate Order instead if you want the default SxE numbering.

If you're organising files for Plex then you'll want to use the Icon Organize Episodes for Plex Preset. That'll force the correct Format and the correct Episode Order settings.

I usually do not use the Presents. I usually hit the match button then click on source. all sources do it in that default now, even though before update it never did.

If you click on a database in the Fetch & Match Data menu then FileBot will use that database and all the global settings you have set, Language, Match Mode, Episode Order, etc. The defaults are English / Opportunistic / Airdate. If you're organising files for Plex, then that would be the recommended settings.
