Using Filebot with Popcorn Hour C200

Post by Ryrazzer »

Hi all,

I am new to Filebot and discovered it while looking for info on how to create a movie database for a Popcorn Hour.
I know they are obsolete now but I have a second sata drive full of movies that I would love to use and have the media player show the cover art for.
So i have Filebot and have matched a few movies as a test. I can see the covert art if I browse the sata drive on my PC, but the Popcorn doesnt display it.

Does anyone know if this is even possible these days?

Cheers.

:?: How does Popcorn Hour display artwork in the first place? I'd start by looking into that. Maybe FileBot can do "it" but we first need to find out what "it" is.

:?: Does it require standard naming so that it can identify the movies and then independently fetch artwork from TMDB?

:?: Does it just use the folder.jpg file from the same folder? Perhaps some other pre-defined file path?

:?: Does it use artwork embedded in the *.mkv file?

:?: All of the above? Or something else?
