I tried to search but found nothing to answer this question but this has been bugging me and I'd like to understand.
I'd be happy buying a lifetime license but my question is:
If someone does not have a license is FileBot limited in any way in regards to functionality?
I'm assuming, one benefit of having a license is that you can seamlessly upgrade to a newer version when its release. Is that correct?
Are there more advanced features etc that FileBot is capable of if running a Licensed version?
A license is notably required for actually renaming files. You'll want to download and install FileBot, and then match and try to rename a few files. The answers to your questions will become very clear in the process. You definitely want to do that before purchasing a license and then you'll want to purchase a 1-year license to evaluate some more before ever considering buying a life-time license.
