How to forced show match and not switch to a sub show in a series

Post by AndrewD2 »

Some shows have different names between seasons. I've been just using the main show and matching that way but lately it is auto naming to the season name for the show. How do i stop it from doing that?

For example, show Kamen Rider. Season 2 is also known as Kamen Rider V3. I want to leave it as part of the main show and not break it out but it is trying to auto name Kamen Rider V3.

:?: What is the file name you have?

:?: What is the target file path you want?

:?: Which database are you using? AniDB?

So here's what I get:

This would be the correct way of naming this file as per Plex naming standard as far as I can tell.
:?: What is your custom format? Are you using {plex.id} or did you write your own custom format? If so, make sure to use {s} series name and not {sn} season name for the series folder name in your naming scheme.
