MAC OS 27 - load files doesn’t

Post by jehale »

Just installed MAC OS 27 public beta.
The “load” button opens the file dlog fine but fails to load the files.
Dragging files into the window still works.

 macOS 27 seems to have broken backwards-compatibility in some ways. They might fix it before the final release, or they might not. In any case, thanks for running the latest beta and reporting issues.

 Recent revisions of FileBot have already implemented a workaround, so you can use the latest beta for the time being:

UPDATE
The Mac App Store version is also affected by this backwards-compatibility issue, except due to Mac App Store specific licensing code that fails, the Mac App Store version crashes on startup, making the issue much more severe there.

 Mac App Store users may switch to the latest beta. Since the beta is not available via the Mac App Store, those users may also request a free complimentary license for the non-Store edition and use that for the time being.
 Please read the FAQ and How to Request Help.

Apologies - but I am encountering this issue on Golden Gate as well. And I understand you comment about temporarily switching to the beta.

I see the link to the general request for free license for onboarding but presume this doesn't apply for App Store purchasers? I am unclear as to how to request a complimentary license to use for the time being how to submit, etc.
