Hello,
Newbie here. I have a WDTVlive and a couple of google TVs at my house. Would like to know if there is any way to generate a Moviesheet with FileBot after scarping the movie data.
I was able to generate movie.nfo, movie-poster.jpg, movie.jpg (cover art) movie-fanart.jpg. This works great for an Old PC running XBMC (Gotham). However, the other devices, need Movie_sheet.jpg file which in my opinion is nothing but a smart combination of a nfo file and the fan art jpg. These old devices can only display images so if we want to see more information about a movie, they display that movie_sheet.jpg file, etc.
I have another old tool call ThumbGen that generates the sheet pretty well and has variety of templates to make them look nice. Unfortunately, it does not create background.jpg or fanart.jpg. Not sure why because it does download them but uses them only for the sheet and then discards them. So while it works great for WDTV and GoogleTV, the XMBC skins that use the fanart for background images do not display that. So I can only see the Covers and the nfo info on the page.
I am trying to have all meta data on the NAS drive so that I can support multiple devices with it. So if anyone has any suggestions how to achieve this then that would be great.
Any help would be appreciated.
MovieSheets
Re: MovieSheets
So what's the issue? FileBot is already naming everything nicely and creating all the metadata. Why can't you use ThumbGen to create those movie_sheet.jpg files then?
Re: MovieSheets
Thanks Rednoah for the quick response. You are right, I could just use Thumbgen for that. But I was trying to avoid two step process. If Filebot could do just that for me then I am all set. Sort of an on auto pilot and I could just get rid of Thumbgen.
Thanks,
