Automagically move finished downloads to their own folders

For the love of me, I can't figure this one out. I'm willing to donate/pay for the time invested.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not very proficient at scripting and/or Linux. Just enough to find my way around.

What I need

Most of these needs are/were covered on different tutorials but I couldn't find the exact much for my needs.
  • I'm using Download Station and I don't want to switch a different software. Too much gardening to keep rTorrent/uTorrent/Transmission working after each DSM upadte.
  • All my downloads are saved to /volume1/Download, both Movies and TV Series
  • After they are done, I'd like FileBot to move TV Series to /volume1/Videos/TV Series and Movies to /volume1/Videos/Movies
That's it! That's all I need.

I *THINK* I managed to install Filebot 4.0 following SE-VE-RAL tutorials and after a LOT of hours I ended up with this:

1.
You'll need find a way to move completed files to a separate folder.

2.
fpcalc is only required for processing audio files, so it's really an optional feature

3.
Does Download Station support calling 3rd party programs? That would be preferred, otherwise it's gonna be a cron job.

If you call a script in intervals it might look something like this:

Completed files only appear on /volume1/Downloads, so I guess that's done then? (DS apparently stores them somewhere else)

Yes, according to a post I found some place else, you can have DS to run a script "on complete".

Considering what I just shared, I removed /complete from your script and ran it. This is what I got:

The native libraries don't work on your system and crash the process.

Just delete libmediainfo.so and libzen.so if mediainfo is crashing it. Otherwise also delete lib7zip-jbindings.so if 7z is crashing it.

Morning mate, finally some progress.

I ran the command after removing what you mentioned and some files were renamed but they weren't moved to their own (TV Series/Movies) directories.

Any ideas why?

You do know what --action hardlink does right? As opposed to --action move.

PS: You think you want to move files, but actually you want to hardlink files. And it's working just fine.

UPDATE: What I mean before is, I ran this and it ran ok last week, dealt with everything inside that folder, flawlessly, now I have way less directories, everything is either a movie or a tv series, and I bump into this error.

-script dev:amc means you're getting the very latest script from GitHub devel branch, which is constantly changing and as a rule of thumb only compatible with the very latest revision of FileBot.

The call for the stable branch would be -script fn:amc which in try to keep stable, though may break on the occasional major release.
