I installed FileBot yesterday on a Windows 7 machine to rename about 150 movie files - it's necessary because I changed the Video database an my Dreambox from Project Valerie (which is not working and not supported anymore) to Video DB which Needs different filenames.
I tried the rename process with different movies - either the product is only "movie 2007" or the file type is changed ( for example from AVI to XVID
What am I doing wrong ?? 2 Screenshots are attached
am I too stupid to use it ???
Re: am I too stupid to use it ???
1. It won't change extension. Extension is the yellow label to the right.
2. When Language preference is set to English it will only speak English. If you rename German you will need to change the language to German for better matches.
3. Check your format, you specified <name> <year> <video-codec>, I guess you only want <name> <year>? Then just set it so: {n} {y}
