Script to rename "Corrie.1.1.2013" to "Coronation Street S54

Post by david99 »

HI ,
I am new to this, so please explain process in full.

I have video files of Coronation Street in the format "Corrie.1.1.2013" or "Coronation.09.08.2013" on my hard drive
I would like to rename it to "Coronation Street S54E01" automatically (for all the ones I have already) and I would like to have a script that utorrent can run when it downloads to rename it to "Coronation Street S54E01"
Each year has a season number 2013 =season 54

Filebot episodes gets the dates and episode numbers which can be saved in a text file:

Coronation Street - 54x01 - Wed 2 Jan 2013
Coronation Street - 54x03 - Fri 4 Jan 2013 Part 2
Coronation Street - 54x04 - Mon 7 Jan 2013 Part 1
Coronation Street - 54x05 - Mon 7 Jan 2013 Part 2
Coronation Street - 54x06 - Wed 9 Jan 2013

I have looked through forums, but could not find anything to match what I want to do.
Could some one help me do this?

Thanks
David

FileBot can match files by airdate instead of SxE given the the dates match what's online. I guess you wanna experiment with the --q and --filter options.
