Updating to 4.9.6 keeps asking for 4.9.3?

I am on Windows 11 and I have tried updating to 4.9.6 x64 but I get a message telling me that I need the 4.9.3 x64 msi file? Why is this happening?

Is the FileBot process asking, or is Windows MSI installer process asking? Can you take a screenshot of the error message?

Sounds like a Windows issue. I don't know why Windows would ask for a previous MSI installer. FileBot doesn't care how it was installed. You can use the portable ZIP instead if the MSI installer isn't work for you for one reason or another.
