The idea behind FileBot is that it's extreme flexibility with naming schemes means you can set it up however you like, customising the scheme however you see fit. The default is only intended as a starting point that helps people build their own scheme, rather than the end result.

Thanks, I'm just suggesting to replace the current default with my suggestion. I know that FileBot is very flexible because I use it but I'll be glad to see the default format is compatible with XBMC.
P.S. Some newbie users may thought that FileBot doesn't work with XBMC because they don't expect that they've to modify the default rename format (It's actually happen with one of my friends)
Both S00E00 and 1x01 formats are equally well established and sure to be recognized by any HTPC and I am 100% sure that XBMC and Plex and all the others do recognize 1x01 naming perfectly fine. If it doesn't I would consider that a heavy bug on the HTPC side.
