Lost my naming scheme for movies after update

Post by yellowdaemon »

After the last update of Filebot, i lost all my naming schemes. For music, i did have a saved copy so i was able to restore it, but for movies, i forgot to save a copy of it
The only thing i know is that it was similar to that of Radarr.

This is my naming scheme for Radarr: {Movie Title} ({Release Year})/{Movie Title} {(Release Year)} {Edition Tags} {Quality Full} {MediaInfo VideoDynamicRange} {MediaInfo AudioCodec} {MediaInfo AudioChannels}
Can someone help to convert it to a Filebot naming scheme?

It would be fine if Filebot could keep a history of the used naming schemes so that you can select it and go back if needed.

Updating / Uninstalling FileBot (via the standard MSI installer) generally does not delete your %APPDATA%/FileBot folder. Did something (3rd party software?) delete your %APPDATA%/FileBot folder? It's certainly not normal behaviour, and files generally don't randomly delete themselves. (NOTE: unless you're using the Microsoft Store where the Store indeed does purge everything on uninstall)

:arrow: Q: Can I quickly switch to a previously used naming scheme?

:arrow: Q: Where is the application data folder? How do I backup my settings? How do I restore my settings?

EDIT:

:arrow: Various radarr naming scheme threads

e.g.

Format: Select all

{ny}/{ny} {tags} {vf} {vc} {hdr} {ac} {channels}

I think your right about that Did something (3rd party software?) delete your %APPDATA%/FileBot folder? You are probably right about that cause after the update i ran a cleanup software 3 days ago. But it was only to delete temporary files, not my appdata/Filebot folder. I'm not sure if that is the cause but that is the only software i ran after updating Filebot.

Thanks Rednoah for posting the post conversation of a while ago. That helped me to restore my naming scheme. I will make a backup of it immediately
