:idea: If you get strange errors like this, then your FileBot installation seems to have been modified or corrupted by bit rot or drive failure:

Error: Select all

Unknown Error: java.lang.ClassFormatError: Illegal UTF8 string in constant pool in class file org/bouncycastle/util/Arrays

Error: Select all

Unknown Error: An application component is damaged or missing: Could not initialize class org.bouncycastle.crypto.CryptoServicesRegistrar

:arrow: Uninstalling FileBot and then installing the latest version from scratch will likely resolve the issue.


:idea: What does the CRC32 checksum say for each file in the FileBot installation folder? Comparing CRC32 checksums before and after reinstall would be very interesting just to see how exactly each file was corrupted or modified.
