Hi,
I suck at scripting and after messing with this for a couple of weeks, I am ready to give up (or tear my hair out!)! Saw your "Hire Me" post and hope you can help - I am totally willing to pay!
Here is my scenario: I currently have a torrent box (Ubuntu 14.04) running deluged with Flexget(I'll call this machine PC 1) - it automatically grabs what I need and puts it in \home\*user*\Downloads\Complete with a sub folder for each category (i.e. \home\*user*\Downloads\Complete\TV\ and \home\*users*\Downloads\Complete\Movies etc). Works perfectly.
I have another machine (PC 2) that acts as my file server which actually stores all of my TV shows, Movies and other file shares - my media folder on PC 2 is mounted on PC1 as \mnt\MediaCenter\TV (which of course drills down to \{series name}\{season}\episodename.mp4 etc), or \mnt\MediaCenter\Movies.
I need a script that will take the file that have been downloaded on PC 1 in the \home\*user*\Downloads\Complete sub folders and do the following:
1. Extract the rar files.
2. rename the extracted video files to something readable.
3. Move the video file to:
a. If in the \home\*user*\Downloads\Complete\TV folder on PC1 move it to \mnt\MediaCenter\TV\{series name}\{season}\
b. If in the \home\*users*\Downloads\Complete\Movies on PC1 move it to \mnt\MediaCenter\Movies folder
Thanks,
celtica

Send me a private message with your email address / availability times / price range.
Also will you be able to give me remote access or at least screen sharing? At this point I'm sure you've looked into my amc script?
