Open dialog does not allow file selection

I upgraded to v4.5 from the App Store today. This version will not allow me to select the files in the root of my Movies folder. The files are greyed out. Files in subfolders are able to be selected just fine.

Use Drag-n-Drop if you want to select specific files. The File Open Dialog will only allow Folder selection.
