opensubtitles ban

Post by david1337 »

Hi guys

So I just started receiving this in the log file:

`filebot -get-subtitles` has been disabled due to abuse. Please see http://bit.ly/suball for details.
Failure (°_°)

I have had no intention of abusing the automatic subtitles download in any way, and it has been working perfectly for a long time until now.
I only search movies once, because they are moved right after the subtitles has been downloaded. So it makes no sence that I got banned.

So, is it Opensubtitles Admins I contact in order to get unbanned?

Thanks

It's completely disabled client-side. You can use -get-missing-subtitles though for single folders, and if you want to fetch subtitles recursively then you will need to use -script fn:suball and some options to include/exclude files.

Ahh okay I see :)
Thanks rednoah.

I have changed it now to use the -script fn:suball, and it works.

Btw is it possible to have it prefer NON hearing impaired subtitles?

Thanks
