A quick search of the posts here didn't show any hits, so I'll ask -
I'm shifting my media server from Win7 Ultimate to Win10 Pro, and at the same time building a new OS drive. Of course that means reinstalling everything, reconfiguring, etc. My install of FileBot isn't as customized as I'd like, but I do have it working great, and I'd like to move the current configuration to my new OS.
Anybody have a short list of what needs to be moved from the previous OS drive to the new one? I have both the new OS drive and the old OS drive mounted in the system, so I can easily copy my old settings, just want to be sure I get them all.
Thanks!
Moving config to new device?
Re: Moving config to new device?
If you're using the portable version that it's easy, but if you're using the Windows installer version then you'll need to copy the FileBot app data folder and the settings which are in the registry.
However, I think the only thing that is really worth saving is your formats. I recommend copy & paste, and posting them here in the forums so they'll be available for you and others.
