rename tv show episode

Post by coene369 »

I want to rename tv show episode only when there is also a subtitle for that episode (srt)
When there is no subtitle the tv show episode must be skipt

Thank you

That is an oddly specific request. FileBot cannot do that out of the box.

You can write a custom script though, or hire me. :ugeek:

so rednoah can you write a script for me ?

Or give me a hint where I can start. ps. I'm dutch therefore the subtitles. I want a neat organized tructure.
And autosub needs the original filename to find the proper subtitle.

example:

The.Blacklist.S03E12.720p.HDTV.x264-AVS.mkv
The.Blacklist.S03E12.720p.HDTV.x264-AVS.srt
The.Blacklist.S03E12.720p.HDTV.x264-AVS.jpg
The.Blacklist.S03E12.720p.HDTV.x264-AVS.xml

This 4 files can be renamed

if there is no srt file then all must be skipt.

A 50 € donation and I'll get started.

Otherwise you will find plenty of help here in the forums. However, basic Groovy coding skills will be required:
