Re: Synology Node File Struture

Yes, but I'm not sure if FileBot Node (i.e. amc script ) is the way to go. Perhaps a custom --def musicFormat will do if things are already working and you just want to customize the destination file structure. In general, Plain File Mode might be more suitable for processing audio files and generat...

Re: Y : The Last Man

I'm having this exact problem. When I hit rename, then validate to fix the name, it literally picks a random hard drive and cuts and pastes the file to the root of that drive. Please use {kodi.name} or {plex.name} as custom format to make sure you're not accidentally generating absolute paths for r...

No worries. It's a relatively new feature. The format editor was indeed single-line until a few years ago.

Re: FEATURE REQUEST: Multiline Format Text box

The format editor is multi-line by default and will adjust in size if you enter multiple lines.

Re: Filebot for Music

1. The amc script renames files solely based on ID3 tag information. These tags are not guaranteed to be correct or uniform. You can however modify your custom format to maybe normalize things to some degree. You may find simple filebot -rename calls more effective for dealing with custom us...

Re: transmission-postprocess.sh slow

You'll want to run the command manually and observe the output to see if there's an obvious 10min gap between printing one line and the next? My educated guess would be this line: Failed to process [A] because [B] is an exact copy and already exists [Last-Modified: Wed Sep 22 22:46:42 CEST 2021] :!:...

Re: How do I replace colon?

Can all companion file process at the same time? Yep, you can adjust your Includes: filter expression to include files as needed. You could include files based on the file name. Alternatively, you could include specific extension irregardless of the file name. The choice is yours. Either way will w...

Thank you for sharing screenshots and your application settings. :!: folder.jpg is indeed ignored not not processed in any way. Renaming this file as if it was the movie is not possible. This format does not perform replacements, and will retain any any colon that the movie name {n} might contain: {ny}/{n}{' - '+fn.match(/tmdb/)} https://i.snipboard.io/FBnLZh.jpg Windows users will want to customize their custom format to take care of : colon at ahead of time as illustrated in the f...

Re: Trying to get presets back after crash

Restoring Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\net\filebot node from your old registry should do the trick. That's generic Windows Registry stuff unrelated to FileBot specifically, so Google should be able to help.

Maybe this?

Re: Trying to get presets back after crash

1. Your custom settings including custom Presets are stored live in the Windows Registry, and preferences.backup.xml is exported once per month. The backup file will contain a snapshot of your setting as they were sometime sometime between 0 and 30 days ago. 2. You can restore your Presets by clicki...

Re: Possible to remove non-english subtitles from MKV's ??

filebot -find -exec allows you to find files and then call arbitrary commands on them, e.g. find files with English subtitles, and then call ffmpeg on the file with some custom options, some of which are constant, some of which are generated and provided by FileBot (e.g. subtitle stream ID for Engl...

Re: Identify if file has DTS or TureHD audio stream

I'd start by looking at the MediaInfo table: https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4285 FileBot can identify DTS / TrueHD audio streams if you can identify them based on one MediaInfo property or another, and then add some if-then-else checks for that in your custom format to add the exactl...

In addition to the missing \ in the filebot argument sequence, your --def seriesFormat isn't quoted correctly, and so your format isn't passed in as a single argument: ... {y}: No Such File: /volume1/etc/filebot/{y} ... Re: Bash Script not working anymore

What does the console output say? At a glance, your argument sequence ends at the line you modified because you forgot to \ at the end: -non-strict \ --output $ZIEL --lang de \ You probably meant to escape the newline: -non-strict \ --output $ZIEL \ --lang de \ In this case, the console output would...

Re: Problem with integers in format expression

Presumably, you mean to tag 10bit files: * add 10bit for 10bit files * don't add anything for non-10bit files e.g. check if bitdepth is 10 { bitdepth == 10 ? ' [10bit]' : '' } e.g. you can do the same check with the ==~ regex match operator but that just adds unnecessary complexity in this case: { b...
