Re: Release Groups {group}
For the anime ones, since anidb keeps a list of them, I wonder if there is some way to use their API to avoid your having to manually update them, as well. I don't know if they have a dump of the info they have at http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=grouplist someplace, but maybe they have a way it can be collected periodically.
Failing that, I suppose you could get a list for the shows you know/care about using http://wiki.anidb.net/w/UDP_API_Definit ... ed_Episode periodically. If you stored it in a way that still tied it to the show id, that could be a way to cut down on the number of groups you'd check when parsing those filenames, maybe.
It might be a lot just to save you the hassle of updating anime release groups (and to cut down on false-positive matches, but just for animes), though, since it'd probably end up adding two new lists, like...
<anidb show id>: <anidb group id 1> <anidb group id 2> ... <anidb group id n>
...and...
<anidb group id>: <group Short Name>
...and you'd end up with different codepaths for anime vs other stuff (since I assume there is no handy mapping of show-to-release_group for non-anime stuff). Anyway, just a thought.

Do you want to add a release group to the list?
Then submit a line-by-line list like everybody else.
Do you want to report mismatches?
Make a new thread and provide sufficient information.

Re: Release Groups {group}
The M.A.S.H mismatch is probably caused by direct series mappings.
For reporting mismatches logs and full paths would be helpful. New thread preferred.

Another issue is some groups tags are wrongly capitalised or only retrieved in part.
[Commie] tags are retrieved as [COMMIE] - wrongly Capitalised in the list
and
[Anime-Koi] tags are retrieved as [KOI] - not a combo tag, Anime-Koi is a single group, and Anime-Koi is in the list anyway

Re: Release Groups {group}
pls remove and not add any more "groups" that is used in English
or used as a naming standard, mostly with 3 or less characters
we/I get to many false positives
as an alt. you can make the short words case sensitive, but it will not do with "DK" and "OK"
some examples:
DK (county code for denmark) + any other county code
http://www.lingoes.net/en/translator/langcode.htm and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes
OK (common word in titles i.e. http://www.imdb.com/find?q=OK&s=tt&ref_=fn_al_tt_mr)
O2 (http://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=O2&s=tt)
NWA (http://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=NWA&s=tt)
AE (http://www.imdb.com/find?ref_=nv_sr_fn&q=AE&s=tt)
need answers to:
1. how to get "group" from a filename with more that 1 positives (it only show the first now) ?
2. is it possible to have/make a local release-groups.txt overwrite (like with the groovy files)(so i can delete the "false positives") ?

Classic DVD groups do a lot of .INTERNAL. releases, as they wont be dupe'd on it. Also lower quality theater rips are done INTERNAL so not to lower the reputation of the group, or due to the amount of rips done already. An INTERNAL release is available as normal on the groups affiliate sites, but they can't be traded to other sites without request from the site ops. Some INTERNAL releases still trickle down to IRC/Newsgroups, it usually depends on the title and the popularity. Earlier in the year people referred to Centropy going "internal". This meant the group were only releasing the movies to their members and site ops. This is in a different context to the usual definition.)

Re: Release Groups {group}
1.
{group} should give you the last occurrence within a filename (though case-sensitive match beats case-insensitive match). As long as a known RG name is at the end, it won't matter if words like "OK" appear in the beginning of the filename.
You don't have to use {group} and you can come up with your own logic in your format:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4#p4
2.
Yes, there's some super old threads about that. Involves modifying the jar.

Re: Release Groups {group}
I have encountered a problem with one of the recent group additions: ENG. If you have English subtitles, the release groups often append the language identifier .eng at the end, so Filebot thinks that the group is ENG when it's actually something else.
The group is actually called Encoderflaccid, ENG seems to be just the short name and they have only a couple of anime releases. On layer13 they don't even exist, so maybe that commit can be undone?
EDIT: I just found this post:

EDIT: I just found this post:
Maybe the dirname could be used to match the release group as well? I have a folder for every release, which is named exactly as the release itself, so the groupname would match case-sensitive. The files, however, contain the release group in lowercase most of the time, making case-insensitive matches like ENG more likely.rednoah wrote:{group} should give you the last occurrence within a filename (though case-sensitive match beats case-insensitive match).
Re: Release Groups {group}
Fixed.
PS: it does match RG names from folder name, file name, and original file name. If there's a match in the folder name and the file name then the file name one wins.

Re: Release Groups {group}
{group} does take everything into account.
If you want to match it yourself you can either path it from the whole {file.path} or from the {folder.name} specifically.

Re: Release Groups {group}
I have a problem recently.
Allot of my series are being renamed to "hdtv-ettv"
While in this case the correct "group" is FUM.
I use this script:
So basically the "group.lower()" thing is not working correctly for me
Could you point me in the right direction for a fix for this?
Many thanks! I love your software
Code: Select all
[MOVE] Rename [/volume1/Downloads/American.Dad.S12E09.HDTV.x264-FUM[ettv]/American.Dad.S12E09.HDTV.x264-FUM[ettv].mp4] to [/volume1/Downloads/TV/American Dad!/American.Dad!.S12E09.-.My.Affair.Lady.hdtv-ettv.mp4]While in this case the correct "group" is FUM.
I use this script:
Code: Select all
'seriesFormat=TV/{n}/{n.replaceTrailingBrackets().space('\''.'\'')}.{s00e00}.-.{t.replaceAll(/[!?.]+$/).replaceAll(/[`´‘’?]/, "'\''").lowerTrail().replacePart('\'', Part $1'\'').space('\''.'\'')}{'\''.'\''+fn.matchAll(/repack|720p|1080p|720i|1080i|proper|extended/).join('\''.'\'').lower()}{'\''.'\''+source.lower()}{'\''-'\''+group.lower()}{'\''.'\''+lang}'Could you point me in the right direction for a fix for this?

Re: Release Groups {group}
According the filename, the group is "ettv" and according to the folder name it's "FUM[ettv]". I'm not an expert on release group naming standard.
You can always match it yourself from the folder name though.

Re: Release Groups {group}
1.
Added.
2.
Joy / JOY has been removed. Group names that literally match English words will be removed because it might interfere with auto-detection of valid movie / series names that contain that word.

Re: Release Groups {group}
The inclusion of the group ettv in the group list breaks some other groups. For example:
Game.of.Thrones.S06E01.HDTV.XviD-FUM[ettv]
will detect the group as ettv, but not FUM, as it was on previous versions.
On these cases, I think FUM is a more specific group than ettv.
In fact, ettv can release different versions of the same episode, as the following:
Fear.The.Walking.Dead.S02E02.HDTV.XviD-FUM[ettv]
Fear.The.Walking.Dead.S02E02.HDTV.x264-KILLERS[ettv]
but both would produce group ettv on FileBot.

Re: Release Groups {group}
"CONDITION" probably shouldn't be an issue because it's all caps, but it causes problems I might remove it in the future. Groups like "CONDiTiON" are even more unique and should never be an issue. "Beer" might be problematic, so I've added it as "BEER" for now.

Doesn't matter either way, as long as you run build.groovy before pushing a commit.

How long it takes to newly added group to take effect?
You have added HiSD to github but it is still not recognise by filebot as group.

Re: Release Groups {group}
1. Data files are built and uploaded on Sunday
2. CloudFlare cache is set to 1 week
So it'll take up to 2 weeks in the worst case.
See what FileBot sees:
If your group is in that list, then (and only then) will filebot -clear-cache allow you to get the new data immediately.

Re: Release Groups {group}
Could you remove "DC" from the group list please
it interferes with "DC's Legends of Tomorrow".
it interferes with "DC's Legends of Tomorrow".
Re: Release Groups {group}
Doesn't FileBot exclude group names that are already part of the series or movie name?

Re: Release Groups {group}
Release group DC should be ignored because DC is already part of the database name. However because of the ' it doesn't work in this case.D0cTeuR-Sn4k3 wrote:Could you remove "DC" from the group list please

Fixed with r4515.

Re: Release Groups {group}
Is the + after de[42] intentional? It would not match my files that follow scene standards, meaning they end in -de[42].mkv.
If it is a typo, would you please change de[42]+ into de[42]?
