Hey new User to board and will purchase my copy if this can be done simply.

I have many many #.mp4 files from my ripped blurays and dvds and because certain other software requires a file folder to "accurately" read and process then my movie/video files need to be in a separate folder. Can you give me how this is done? I have the looked at the tutorial screens and did not see this covered.
