Filebot checks wrong folder?

Post by jazzperm »

My setup is that Utorrent moves finished downloads to F:\Finished Torrents
I want Filebot to move tv episodes to D:\TV

My input in cmd was:

C:\Users\Jasper>filebot -script "fn:utorrent-postprocess" --output "D:\" --log-f
ile amc.log --action copy --conflict override -non-strict --def music=n subtitle
s=nl artwork=n "ut_dir=F:\Finished Torrents\[www.Cpasbien.me] The.Walking.Dead.S
03E01.FRENCH.LD.HDTV.XviD-MiND" "ut_file=Films DVDRIP sur www.Cpasbien.me.html"
"ut_kind=multi" "ut_title=[www.Cpasbien.me] The.Walking.Dead.S03E01.FRENCH.LD.HD
TV.XviD-MiND" "ut_label=" "ut_state=5" --def "seriesFormat=TV/{n}/{fn}" "movieFo
rmat=Movies/Nieuw/{n} {y}/{fn}" --def xbmc=192.168.1.75 >> "D:/filebot.log" 2>&1

The Log tells me this:
[2013-10-22 wordt niet herkend als een interne
of externe opdracht, programma of batchbestand.

I'm totally new to this. After reading many posts I came with this set up and thought it had to be ok. What am I doing wrong??

BTW My input in Utorrent is:
filebot -script fn:amc --output "D:\" --log-file amc.log --action copy --conflict override -non-strict --def music=n subtitles=nl artwork=n "ut_dir=%D" "ut_file=%F" "ut_kind=%K" "ut_title=%N" "ut_label=%L" "ut_state=%S" --def "seriesFormat=TV/{n}/{fn}" "movieFormat=Movies/Nieuw/{n} {y}/{fn}" --def xbmc=192.168.1.75 >> "D:/filebot.log" 2>&1

This is what the docs says (in big fat red letters):
The folder paths to Location of Downloaded Files must not end with backslash \ because the value gets passed through as the %D token. So the final backslash \ will escape the double-quote " and mess up everything
This is your command:

Code: Select all

--output "D:\"

Thanks for putting me in the right directions. I definetly did not enough careful reading!

Anyway I succeeded to get Filebot recognise the files and copy them. I just did not succeed in renaming jet:

Done ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

So the files end up with the original names. I also assumed that filebot would put them in new folders (Season 3)?

Thnx for helping so far.

Your format:

Code: Select all

D:\TV/{n}/{fn}
Output as specified by your format:

Code: Select all

D:\TV\The Walking Dead\[www.Cpasbien.me] The.Walking.Dead.S03E01.FRENCH.LD.HDTV.XviD-MiND.avi

Works perfectly, as specified by you. Why use original filename binding {fn} when you say you don't want the original filename?

You do understand what the format is for right? => http://www.filebot.net/naming.html

PS: Don't override seriesFormat/movieFormat when you don't know what you're doing. The defaults already do what you want.
