FB select wrong series

Hello experts!
What is going wrong here?
I select the correct series but FB gives me a complete other one

Is this a known bug?

You'll want to use SHIFT-CLICK <database> to force one specific series. Please read Q: How do I fix misidentified files? for details.


FileBot may internally be considering multiple search queries in parallel and may only prompt you for selection for some of them. In this case you are almost guaranteed to get a mismatch of some kind since S05E08 does not exist in the database. That said, I was unable to reproduce a mismatch with Chicago Fire using following sample file paths:

In this particular case you'll need to use the Match by Episode Title approach (using TheTVDB in German) to get the correct match:

Thank you for the help.
I already have TVDB and German in the preset.
I changed now from "opporunistic" to "strict" and wait for the results.

Edit: the "not existing episode" is a result of a differen counting scheme from the website https://www.wunschliste.de that triggers my STB

Strict Mode will likely not allow a match from File S05E08 to Episode S07E01. But you can run a test and see. Maybe if the episode title is an exact match and long-ish.
