New Name Variation Between v4.x.x and 5.x.x

Post by midiii »

Hi all,

I am finding some strange behaviour between older versions (4.x.x) and current versions of filebot with naming conventions.

Matching with AniDB I get One Piece S1123 - E1123 with current version and One Piece S22E38 - 1123 on version 4.x.x with the latter being the preferred output.

Any ideas why this is doing weird matching? Something has clearly changed in the changes of version but I cannot get it to work correctly with version 5

Appreciate any input.

Thanks

The target file path is entirely defined by your custom format.

:?: What is the custom format you are using?

 AniDB notably does not support SxE numbers. If you want SxE numbers, then you will want to use TheTVDB or TheMovieDB.

 If you mean to convert AniDB absolute numbers to TheTVDB SxE numbers, then Convert Absolute to SxE numbers is the way to go. How do I rename One Piece for Plex? provides examples for your specific use case.
