Error when trying to rename

Post by Arsenic »

So ever since updating to the newest version, I have not been able to rename anything. It keeps telling me there is nothing to match and to fetch the data first. I have read the posts about this and nothing I try works.
There is a new error message that I can't find info on..

Any idea how I fix this?

What package? What OS? What does it say when you do filebot -script fn:sysinfo?

Latest version, 3.8, with updated Java 7 on Win7. Not sure where to enter the script to get the sysinfo.

Try reinstalling then.

I can sort of make sense of that error but I can't see how it could happen with 3.8, also just tried the 3.8 installer that's online and everything works fine.

does it make a difference that I'm just using the Java applet and not the full blown install?

Java applet? There is no Java applet...

You mean you just use the .jar file? That also seems to work fine. Just try the "full blown install" then.

Installed the program and all is well. Not sure what is different.
Best program I've used for renaming ANYTHING.
Keep it up, thanks
