v5.1.6 - Subtitles suddenly not downloading (error 406)

Since the latest version, I was able to only download subtitles using the subtitles tab (~30 episodes worked). Then, that stopped working as well. I have an account with OpenSubtitles, but I get a 406 error every time I try. Is there a rate limit?

To recreate, add episodes to the list to rename, ensure "Post Process: Fetch Subtitle Files" is on. No subtitles will be downloaded. You can also recreate in the Subtitles tab.

FileBot 5.1.6 uses the new OpenSubtitles.com API by default. If previous versions worked better for you, then you can configure FileBot to use the old OpenSubtitles.org API instead. See OpenSubtitles REST API › Configure FileBot to use the old OpenSubtitles XML-RPC API for details.


You may need to re-enter your OpenSubtitles.com login details. See Q: How can I enter my OpenSubtitles login details? for details. FileBot will tell you your current download quota when you do so.
