Good day. So I just set up a nas server for the first time and know nothing. I Think I got all the apps and ports and hard links working. The only thing that is not is radarr. Found out your movie files need to be in separate folders and I have over 600 movies all in the same place. I was told filebot could help.
So I installed filebot onto my synology. following this ( viewtopic.php?t=1802).
I'm worried I might push the wrong thing and loose years of my movies. I have them all located in.
/data/media/movies
Id like to keep all the files in this location but put all the videos into there own folder same name as the file. ( they all are video files no other files in this folder)
Inside the app: under Organize Files options I'm Not sure what action I should pick.
Do I do input folder and out put folder the same?
What about the other options? do I leave them alone?
Could you please recommend me what options I need to select or deselect.
Thanks
File to Folder Name to prepare files for Radarr

Re: first time help. 600 movies
Ok I downloaded filebot for windows.
So I click load and select folder.
Then go to network>synology and select the folder with all my videos files.
Click presets
and select
file to folder name
Then it loads to the other side and I simply click rename correct?
