After purchasing FileBot via Paddle, you will receive 2 emails. The first email from [email protected] will contain your license as plain text. The second email from [email protected] will contain your license as file attachment. Either can be used to activate FileBot.
If you did not receive 2 emails, please check your Spam folder. If you're using a Desktop application (e.g. Windows Mail) to receive Email via POP3 or IMAP, please check the Spam / Junk mail folder via the web interface as well.
If you have received no email at all then you have likely mistyped your email address or your mail server is rejecting emails. In this case, please PM me your name and @gmail.com address, and ideally your order number (e.g. P1234567) if possible, so I can manually resend your license. (You will need at least 1 public post before you can write a PM. If you are a new users with 0 posts, just post something on this thread.) You may also contact @rednoah via our Discord Support Channel.
If you have used your Credit Card during checkout, then I can look up your order number by name. If you have used PayPal or Apple Pay, and mistyped your email address during checkout, then you need to contact Paddle (our payment processor) first so they can look up your order number via your payment details.
If you want to recover a lost license key, please contact Paddle (our payment processor) with your name, email and payment details so they can look up your order and resend your license confirmation.
1. Paddle Payment & License Confirmation:
You may Select & Copy the License Key text and then click on Paste License Key in the FileBot application when prompted to activate FileBot.
Please select the entire text in the grey text area under License Key (including BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE at the very top and END PGP SIGNATURE at the very bottom).
2. FileBot License File:
You may Save the Attachment to your computer and then click on Select License File in the FileBot application when prompted to activate FileBot.
How do I install my license file?
You can activate your license by double-clicking on the license file or right-clicking the license file and opening it with FileBot.
If you've already started using FileBot, then you can also activate the license from within the app when prompted:
